This lady takes great pleasure in going out on autumn mornings, collecting seasonal treasures, and using them to make photogenic arrangements around mushrooms and tree stumps, as a gift for us humans passing by who have an eye for it. She is distantly related to gnomes, but lives a solitary life and they don't run into each other very often. We first met in 2018 and she still hasn't told me her name... #ArtAdventCalendar #NeedleFelting

I wouldn't necessarily say this one on grief & loss exactly brightens up the timeline, but I've found people appreciate seeing him nonetheless. It's called "farewell to a friendship" and was made in 2017. #ArtAdventCalendar #NeedleFelting

Here's my first attempt at posting for the Art Advent Calendar. Thank you for letting me join! This is a Civil War quilt I made, begun about five years ago and finished last year. From top left (Grandmother's Fan - peace) to bottom right (A More Perfect Union,) each individual block of 30 steps through the events of and relates the truncated story of the war from beginning to end.
