https://linuxiac.com/why-ubuntu-23-10-isos-have-been-temporarily-withdrawn/ Ubuntu ISO's have been pulled, Ubuntu 23.10 had installers for the Ukrainian Language, that contained hate speech and obscene messages that no one caught until after initial publication. The ISO's have been withdrawn from all mirrors. All affected ISO's will be recreated and re-uploaded as quickly as possible. #Ubuntu #Linux #Ukraine #HateSpeech #Canonical #WTF

How did I get on the #Canonical #Ubuntu marketing email list?

💩 Canonical finally snapped. After gaslighting everyone about good intentions, they will now fully commit to their proprietary Snapverse. Baby steps, then one big Godzilla one. IPO, MS or GTFO seems to be the party line. Not gonna join a cult, specially a corporate one, just to be resold back to MS or worse. At least they can't play the "benefit of the doubt" card anymore. #Enshittification #Opensource #Canonical #Ubuntu #Snap https://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2023/07/ubuntu-23-10-new-app-store-deb-support
