TLDR: If you got a lump sum cumulative payment from CPP-D Contact your MP (this is the only way, though you can try yourself to get this T1198 form filled out by Service Canada) & an accountant to ensure you get the taxes you paid back-distributed over those years & very likely a lot of $$ will be returned to you. One guy put my social insurance on a post-it. Took photocopy of my ID. How does that make me safer from people I had no choice but to call out for their incompetence? Having the document done automatically, sent to me, or direct to CRA is MORE private. CPP-D is stealing many billions of dollars from disabled people through denial of services they are legally responsible for & through complete service incompetence or willful fraud are robbing the poorest & most tired. There needs to be an investigation but also a class action.
