Bluefin and Aurora 2.10 coming at you! This has mostly small changes, but one notable change is the inclusion of *bootc* in Bluefin... No news on that yet, but it is part of watching upstream as they work on the next generation of atomic Linux (the image-based era?) Exciting times!

Third, we are away of an issue affecting Fedora Atomic Desktops.
If you have updated recently you may not be able to boot, getting a message about a bad shim signature or something similar. The Fedora Atomic Desktops SIG is aware of the issue and working on a solution. It seems to be related to the update to Linux kernel 6.9. (1/2)

Besides introducing a new brand, Fedora Atomic Desktops had some specific updates to it in the Fedora 40 release.
As a refresher, we're talking about Silverblue, Kinoite, Sway Atomic (was Sericea), and Budgie Atomic (was Onyx) - all under one umbrella!

The world of Fedora Atomic grows with BlueBuild, a spin-off of @[email protected] that is a newly independent project!
If you've been wanting to build or maintain your own custom image of Fedora Atomic Desktops, this may be another way to explore that interest. Instead of editing a containerfile, you work on a recipe that is then transformed into a containerfile to make the process of getting started easier.

@[email protected] We see the upsides to the image based approach that #FedoraAtomic can offer to some folks, what the #ublue folks have going on, for instance, isn't really viable with our setup. It's all just a different way to approach a common problem.
