New intro for a new instance.
Been on Mastodon since about Nov 2022. Changed instances 5 Aug 2024.
Hi! I'm a retired chemical engineering living in the Nevergreen part of the Evergreen state (aka eastern Washington state, ie the Columbia Basin).
Heavy player of #HashtagGames. Hobby #Woodworker and furniture builder. #Jazz lover. Also 60s/70s/80s rock. Follow #F1 and #IndyCar.
Also #Geology, and science in general.
I'd like to start a collection of #radio shows created by the good people here, particularly the #jazz & #soul folks - comment with a link and we can cross-pollenate
The Mastodon universe has been good for me as a club producer & radio curator. I've connected with a lot of great music that otherwise might fly under the radar, and I see the people who populate the #jazz & #soul hashtags as curators of quality
Curtis was the first radio cat I found here (@[email protected]) with two quality shows out of Denton, Texas - very highly endorsed

I'm digging this #ChickCorea and #BelaFleck collab!
