The Amazon Pygmy Gecko (Pseudogonatodes guianensis), is an unassuming and secretive lizard, living in the leaf litter of the rain forest. They are dark-colored to the eye, and 1.5 - 2 inches long as an adult. A wee and shadowy creature, but get a camera flash on them, and they look magnificent. Photographed a few weeks ago in NE Peru. #herps #lizards #nature #naturephotography
