#OpenSource Software is basically free (gratis) labor for corporations. Always has been. However Libre Software (Free Software as defined by Richard Stallman) is basically protecting your rights and freedoms as the user. You should know the differences. Companies never mentioned Libre (free) Software at all and popularized the term open source because they know that #OSS don't teach 4 user freedoms. They like it when you depend on them. Hence the term " #enshittification ". #fsf #freesoftware
