Hi fedi! :fox_wave: I'm Hazel, a transfem fox-girl software developer. I've been around for a while, but a lot has changed and my previous intro is no longer accurate. You may know me from the staff of Transfem.Social and Void.Lgbt, or as a maintainer of Sharkey and ModShark. To anyone meeting me for the first time: Hello and welcome to my profile! It's nice to meet you! I'm a polyamorous trans lesbian from the USA, and I'm part of a plural system (though my headmate isn't currently on fedi). I enjoy meeting other queer people, and I love spending time in our community here on fedi. Feel free to reach out if you have a question about queer experiences, or if you just want to chat! My hobbies include open-source software development, retro-computing, and gaming. I have a number of open-source projects, and I'd love to hear about yours too! I don't have much time for gaming anymore, but my current interests are *Honkai Star Rail*, *Genshin Impact*, and TTRPGs. My favorite game to date is the original *Life is Strange*, which actually helped me discover my trans identity. If any of this sounds like you, then feel free to drop a follow request. Things they don't tell you about being #trans #transfem 360, new #lesbian relationship edition: my wife and I now routinely get asked if we are splitting the check at restaurants. This never happened when we were not in an obviously #queer relationship.

What would make sense to do with used/old breast moulds from when I was #questioning ? They're fully silicone and somewhat decent quality, but I have my own now, like 😅... Is this something someone would be interested in, or is it just plainly rubbish? #trans #transfem #transfemme

And I have my first appointment on Wednesday 😊︎. The bad news is that my hair might be so strong that it may require ten or more sessions each. If I HAD a gender-dysphoria diagnosis my health insurance would cover that, but because the Dutch system is as transphobic as it is, I will have to pay for it myself. Not happy, and it is more money than I expected but I’m thankfully in a position where I can afford this and the outcome will certainly make me a lot happier than seeing a larger number in my banking-app would. And then we discussed full body hair-removal… It’s really a lot of money for that, but I think I might just about be able to afford it without having to touch my live-savings if I don’t go on vacation or have other large expenses until I’m done… Then again I was told that this will become less of an issue once I get on HRT anyways, so I may not need it as much after all.
