鯖機NICのスリープ復帰後に挙動狂う問題、AIで原因切り分けしてたらかなりややこしい状態になってきた
多分犯人ドライバーっぽいなこれ
再起動時にハングアップしてる(ログ見た感じsystemdは正常に動いてる)って伝えたら犯人はドライバーの可能性が高いみたいな事返ってきた
AtlanticのドライバーとUbuntuの相性ってそんなに悪いのか…?

分かる人向け 現状症状がかなり独特なので箇条書きでとりあえずまとめる ・S3ステートに落としてサスペンドにさせる ・その後WoLで起動(ここまでは正常) ・すると確率で何故かNICが狂う(OS側は読んでるけどネットワークに接続しない) ・ついでにsudo ethtool -S ens2って言ったらCannot get stats strings information: No such deviceって返事する ・更に何故か再起動で最後の一歩(Reached target reboot.target - System Reboot.)でハングアップする 一応OSはUbuntu 24.04 LTS、NICはAQtion AQC107S、ドライバーはUbuntu内蔵ドライバーっぽい チャッピーは"単なる「リンクが切れた」よりも、NICデバイスそのものがカーネルから消えている、あるいはドライバがデバイスを正常に保持できていない可能性を強く疑います。""Marvell/Aquantia atlantic ドライバの問題をかなり強く疑う段階に来ています。"って言ってる マジでAtlantic何してくれてんの #Atlantic #Marvell #Aquantia #Ubuntu #NIC #AQC107

So #Mastodon needed a good #introduction toot to help find me #friends here. By profession, I am a computer #programmer. I prefer #linux over any other #system software. My first #distribution was #Ubuntu :ubuntu: but for a few or more reasons I have settled with #Fedora :fedora: On top of that I have been using #Gnome as my main #desktop #environment since 2006. I highly admire Al-Khwarizmi and Al-Kindi for their contributions to modern #science and #technology.

On a totally different note: received my confirmation for the Summit in October. Looking forward to my 1st FOSS event, never too late. Have to restage the laptop into sth Ubuntu 😂 If I'm lucky 24.10 will be out with Kubuntu and Plasma 6. Looking forward to it all! #Ubuntu #UbuntuSummit

@[email protected] I didn't find the option when buying recently and shortly after was told by #Lenovo support that they don't support #Linux. This was a #Legion9 which I've had for about a month. I'm dual booting #Ubuntu 24 and it is good enough. Good enough that I've not bothered looking for any drivers yet and loving the sore foot development.
