How good is the battery life on my #Asus #Zenfone 11? I spent all day at #Disneyland, leaving at close. Relatives with iPhones had their batteries die around noon to mid-afternoon. Disneyland sells portable chargers everywhere. I never charged my phone once, used it all throughout the day (pretty much have to run Disneyland app), didn't use any power saving mode, etc, and when I got back in around 1:30am, I still had 55% left.

Retrospective from a month with the #Zenfone 11 Ultra: I'm now officially a fan of the Zenfone. It hits a certain sweet spot for me between the headphone jack, UI, camera, and battery life. It's the direction #Samsung should have gone. I don't like the larger size more than the size of the 9/10, but it is roughly the same size of my previous Samsung Galaxy Plus, so I can definitely live with it. #Android #Asus

I'm selling my #Zenfone 9 in case anyone is interested. https://www.ebay.com/itm/305548172287

I thought the wireless charging stopped working on my #Zenfone 11, but it turned out to be a 3rd party case. The charging works fine without a case or the case it came with, but not the simple clear plastic one I bought on Amazon. I have a similar style case on my #Pixel 8 and wireless charging works with it, so now I'm curious if it's a problem with the case or the Zenfone.

My wife, a Samsung S24 user: "Wow, your phone has a nice camera!" The #Zenfone 11 Ultra camera is definitely an improvement over the Zenfone 9. #Android #Asus

This #Zenfone 11 Ultra is roughly the same dimensions as the #Samsung S24 Ultra, which replaced the Galaxy Note. I really wasn't expecting it to be this big. But going from a Zenfone 9 to 11, I went from one of the smallest smartphones to one of the largest. 😳 Don't get me wrong - it's an excellent phone, but sweet glory is it massive. #Android

Hello from my #Asus #Zenfone 11 Ultra!

My new phone was waiting on me to get back. #Asus #Zenfone

One neat thing about the #Asus #Zenfone 11 is that the #AI features are local to the device and work without needing an internet connection. The AI isn't a major selling point for me, personally, but I feel much better about it being native to the device.

I think I'm going to begrudgingly pre-order the #Asus #Zenfone 11 after all. I'm grumpy about it, but there's no other phone on the market I'd rather have some a hardware and UX standpoint and they are promising a longer software lifecycle with it.

For the most part, the #Zenfone 11 seems like a straightforward upgrade on the Zenfone 9, but it goes from 16G in the Zenfone 9 to 12G in the Zenfone 11. The Zenfone 11 has DDR5 memory where I'm pretty sure Z9 has DDR4. I don't normally use that much memory on my phone (usually around 6GB), and #Asus phones can support zram, so it's not a deal breaker for me. This was just the most obvious tradeoff I noticed apart from the size difference. #Android

Just got the #Android 14 update on my #Zenfone 9. I think I may need a translator for the release notes.

@[email protected] The #Android space is quickly becoming a duopoly between #Samsung and #Google #Pixel and the hardware is #Asus alone makes it stand out in a good way. It's unfortunate that the sudden rise in #Zenfone popularity is likely to very quickly die off because of Asus' dismal SLA.

@[email protected] I've saved the apk anyway, just in case. I really hope other #Asus #Zenfone and #ROG users will complain about it to their support as well. I also happen to like the Asus UI in general. They add a lot of nice quality of life options on top of AOSP without feeling like a totally different experience.
