#introduction The name’s Jex and I’m someone who’s vaguely bad at being an adult human being. Been trying (and arguably failing) at getting into electrical engineering, IT, and cybersecurity but hoping to properly break into those fields soon. Interests are mainly #anime, #manga, #lightnovels, #videogames, #cardgames, and #TTRPG (mostly of the cyberpunk variety)! On the topic of cyberpunk stuff, I’m also part of staff for a real cool #shadowrun #MUD! https://www.awakemud.com I also stream! Usually it’s Friday night #FFXIV shenanigans with friends but I’ve also recently been streaming #Digimon stuff on Mondays!

For your #SundayFunday, this is going to be a thread about a novel writing technique called "cartes noires" (black cards). It is a creative writing framework that helps writers come up with a rather elaborate plot for a mystery novel in about 30 minutes using only a set of standard playing cards, a simple set of rules, and your imagination! #writingcommunity #writingprompt #writing #novelwritingmethod #cardgames #oulipo #WritersOfMastodon
