I've published a new essay on my website. “Into the Dark Wood: The Right to Be Unknown.” Oblivion, autonomy, surveillance, and resisting a world that refuses to let us disappear. https://ominous.net/The_Right_to_Be_Unknown.html #Privacy #Surveillance #DigitalRights #DigitalAutonomy

New instance, new #introduction. Hello #fosstodon & #mastodon! I'm Robbie, a freshly hatched #linux user and #retrogaming fan. Also an avid proponent of #foss and #digitalrights. I love #music, #movies, and #80s / #90s #nostalgia. Also a criminology masters student, in my 40s, returning to university in 2024, with an interest in researching #cybercrime.

I'm finally doing an #introduction post here with some tags to search and make it easier to meet others. Follows and conversation welcome! I'm a cis, gay man who is enamored of the beautiful spectrums of folks on the fediverse. I run tech.lgbt, and am interested in #CommunityBuilding. I build things for #WordPress #WebDev #PHP #JavaScript I am actually a werewolf. #DigitalRights #Privacy #Linguistics #DigitalCulture #Reading #SciFi #Blogging #Dogs #Furry #Plants #Coffee
