I have AI hype, online form, and online survey exhaustion. Working in tech has taken a turn for the worse. Is this really what we want to do with our days? #dystopia #tech #ai

My article on breaking down the binary between #utopia and #dystopia has been published in Vector! "Ambitopias form a careful balancing act, forming a cohesive and believable society that cannot be categorised as either good or bad, yet one which is still dramatically speculative. In short, an ambitopia presents a world both distinctly better and worse than our own." https://vector-bsfa.com/2023/08/07/ambitopia-futures-beyond-the-binary/ #scifi #books #sciencefiction #lgbtq

We build road to arrive—unwittingly soon—at a future much worse than even now. Yet most #Leftists and leftish, alike, remain far too unreflectively committed to virtue-signaling their opposition to designated bad people—too deeply ensconced in ease of #KayfabePanto—to grok, let alone grapple, truth that they, too, are actively even now setting cobblestones along guide-line's path. Crushed gravel and sand already lain down, those opposed crouch—mallets in hand. #ableism #dystopia #MishnoryRoad

Hi all, When not writing, I love to talk about #books, #movies, and #television. I am particularly fond of #scifi #fantasy, #dystopia, and #mystery, but I enjoy most any #fiction. I'm fascinated by #space and #technology and thoroughly enjoy a good pun or dad joke. #introduction
