Given how many people are now joining the
#fediverse, here's an updated
#introduction!
I'm Nikki, an
#ExPat Brit (who is half Canadian and now a U.S. Citizen) living just west of
#PDX, Portland, OR.
As a
#trans and
#queer person growing up in the 1980s and 90s, Music became a much-needed escape from the real world, and I ended up attending
#GSMD in London and becoming a professional
#Oboist and
#MusicTeacher.
In 2010 I changed career. I'm the owner and co-presenter of
@[email protected], where we try to help the world become cleaner, greener, safer, smarter and more equitable through greener transportation and clean energy. (
@[email protected] is my work account).
(See
https://youtu.be/FBtJaqu1UE4 for that origin story)
I'm a total
#Nerd, and I enjoy
#cycling, RetroComputing,
#OpenSource and much more. I'm married to the amazing
@[email protected], and I love to
#Garden. I have
#Chickens,
#Dogs, want
#Goats, and I'm sometimes found at your local
#Comicon or
#Furcon dressed as
@[email protected],
@[email protected], and others!
