Just a few days ago I finally managed to source this extremely elusive* motherboard (ASRock Rack W680D4ID-2T/G5/X550) and currently waiting for the ECC DDR5 RAM modules to arrive (2x32GB, can later be expanded to a full 128GB) and I am SO excited to migrate onto the new motherboard. ECC DDR5 support (thanks to the W680 chipset)! Remote management! Dual 10G ethernet! TONS of storage via SATA and PCI-Express (thanks to the OCuLink connectors)! In a (deep) ITX form factor! :ameowbongo: :blobcatbigfan: #Homelab *The ASRock Rack server boards, like this, have been out of stock everywhere for *years*, owing (in large part, but not exclusively) to chip shortages around the ethernet chips on the boards, this one is, in fact, an alternate version with a different Ethernet controller than the originally released product. Edit: I realized I ought to give a shoutout to the wonderful peeps over at https://serverfactory.com/ who tracked it down & shipped it to Estonia! TY! 💖 #homelabNG
