Hello, all! Seems like a moment for an #introduction…. I’m a freelance journalist who mostly writes about #nature, #animals, and our #environment through the lens of #science and #ideas. (I am also on Team Oxford Comma.)

At the moment I’m in the home stretch of Meet the Neighbors, my book for W. W. Norton about what animal personhood — understanding them as fellow thinking, feeling beings — means for nature.
