So this night I have completed #writing up the first collection (of the two) of #poems that my great grandma wrote. She wrote them in the late 90s and sold them with the profits going to a hospital that she went to. I discovered them my grandma's attic a few years ago and wanted to do something with them... And so part one of my task complete. It gives me a weird sense of pleasure and finality to present 28 poems that she had written. https://www.wattpad.com/story/358487380-simple-rhymes-by-ruby-n-ramsell #poetry #poem #poet

#Introduction Helloooooooo! I’m a writer/dreamer floating over from another server in search of #whimsey, #cozy vibes, #gentleness and general pretties. Seeking my fellow #poet people, people who like #tea parties under full moons, #book folks, those who are #Winter and/or #Christmas inclined, lovers of #unicorns and anyone else who wants to say hi! 🌠 Also, I boost heavily, but all boosts are careful/intentional. So who’s ready for a calm, quiet party? I brought doughnuts and blankets!

“We need the courage to create ourselves daily, to be bodacious enough to create ourselves daily — as Christians, as Jews, as Muslims, as thinking, caring, laughing, loving human beings. I think that the courage to confront evil and turn it by dint of will into something applicable to the development of our evolution, individually and collectively, is exciting, honorable.” — Maya Angelou ❤️❤️❤️ #StrongWomen #MayaAngelou #Quote #Quotes #Author #Poet #Scholar #Activist

I was fortunate, early in my online broadcasting life as a poet and writer, to learn that my tweets and posts and tiny ramblings, were considered as "published" by most journals. It's one of the reasons I only share published (by journals) work here. Thought this tip might help other poets and writers. @[email protected] @[email protected] #PoetryCommunity #WritingCommunity #poet
