I was holding off doing a #introduction post out of some vague desire to decide which instance I was going to take up now permanent residence, but given that it's been 3 weeks and I've started to accumulate both followers and followees perhaps I should stop procrastinating...
I'm Richard, a data scientist with degrees in computer science and cybernetics: I taught emotions to robots for my master's thesis. Which was more interesting unfortunately than my PhD.
I play and write #RPGs, enjoy boardgames, and have more than completed my 10,000 hours of practice at reading - my personal library now runs to 1600 books and my "to read pile" a mere 400. You can always attract my attention by vaguely waving a Brandon Sanderson book but will accept most fantasy and sci-fi.
